Nick Barron

Sports Performance Coach

Before joining NutriFormance, Nick was the Head Coach of Cross Country and Track & Field at Principia College. At Principia College, Nick coached athletes to achieve personal best performances while supporting their academic success, including two athletes that qualified for the National Championship track meet. Nick has coached a variety of running clients and soccer players with a specific focus on goalkeeper training. Most recently, Nick coached two goalkeepers that helped their teams earn appearances at the Missouri State Championships in the 2025 fall season.

Nick was a multi-sport athlete at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, playing soccer and running middle-distance events in track. During his sophomore year, Nick suffered a knee injury that required surgery. His experience going through physical therapy and athletic training in the recovery process ignited a passion for individual athletic training.

After college, Nick worked in South Africa with Grassroot Soccer, a sport-for-development non-profit organization. While working in South Africa, Nick played soccer with an amateur team, competed in a half marathon, a full marathon, and the Two Oceans Ultra-Marathon (34.8 miles). When he returned to the states, Nick coached high school soccer and worked with Athletic Republic for a few months before receiving an opportunity to lead an international residential soccer program with Colorado Rush in Denver, Colorado.

Nick loves coaching and helping clients achieve their goals, wherever they are in their training journey. He believes that training is about more than physical improvement, it’s about committing to the process, learning, and enjoying the hard work that brings about positive experiences and results.
