Prior to joining NutriFormance, Jen worked in a variety of out-patient clinics and have treated a multitude of diagnoses including: chronic pain, sport injury, post-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, cancer, motor vehicle accident and vestibular. She has also treated a wide range of ages from pediatric to geriatric. Over the past years, Jen furthered her clinical knowledge with an assortment of continuing education courses including: lab assist for gross anatomy at Maryville University, running injuries and treatment, orthopedic manual techniques, Kinesio Taping, neuromuscular stabilization, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, pharmaceutical, cervicogenic headaches, shoe insert orthotics and orthopedic surgical and non-surgical interventions. Jen is currently working towards becoming a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars. She has also developed an in-depth knowledge for the treatment of cyclists and foot mechanics. Jen has enjoyed sharing her knowledge to others in the physical therapy profession as a clinical instructor and mentor.
In addition to Jen’s clinical experience, she spends her free time training and racing as a category 2 road cyclist. She has achieved the honors of 2015 MOBAR (Missouri Best All-Around Road Racer) and cyclocross state champion. Jen has been an advocate for injury prevention and wellness in the cycling community and presented to local athletes at Big Shark Bicycle Company, Swim Bike Run and The Hub Bicycle Company.
