Prior to joining NutriFormance, Cody had been training for 5 years and was a soccer goalie. Having played sports since a young age and experiencing multiple injuries, he became interested in Athletic Training and exercise science. Throughout his collegiate career he was a goalie for the William Woods University soccer team and completed hundreds of hours of clinical work and observation. Cody’s clinical rotations were spent with physical therapists, hospitals, and high schools around the Columbia area to cover a wide range of injuries and ages and accumulated over one-thousand hours. His time at the university was spent learning how to diagnose, rehabilitate, and prevent injuries while strengthening athletes to their best potential. With a major in Athletic Training and a minor in exercise science and coaching, Cody wants to continue aiding anyone interested in bettering themselves in health and fitness.
After graduating in 2018, Cody spent the last 5 years training and managing at a local fitness facility and working with many clients with many different goals and challenges. He has worked with many injuries ranging from knee and shoulder ligament damage to post-surgery recovery for various points of the body. Wanting to improve his ability for his clients, Cody received the CSCS certification earlier this year.
