Before joining the NutriFormance, Riley spent 9 years competing and learning the martial art by the name of Kuk Sool Won. Riley made it to the level of second degree black belt before focusing on running both Cross Country and Track in College. He attended Webster University where he achieved success in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) being all-conference 3 times in Cross Country, and 3 times in Track including the 5k conference champion. Riley graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science in 2018.
During Riley’s senior year at Webster University, Riley was given the opportunity to be an intern with NutriFormance & Athletic Republic where he worked with a pitching program called Mach 1. The program focused on improving the longevity of our young pitchers through improving pitching mechanics, arm care, and strengthening.
Riley plans to continue to run competitive in the St. Louis running scene with the aspirations of eventually running marathons and potentially ultra-marathons. Riley aspires to train endurance athletes of all capabilities and ages to improve their fitness, avoid injury and improve their times.
