Biography of
Shea Williams, BS, CSCS
Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Performance Coach

Prior to joining the Team at NutriFormance and Athletic Republic STL, Shea received a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Dakota, where he was a three-year starter for USD as a linebacker. He garnered many awards at that time including Most Valuable Defensive Player, First Team All-Great West Conference, Academic All-Great West Conference, and First Team ESPN Academic All-District VII in addition to being the team captain for two seasons. He completed an internship with the strength and conditioning department at USD where he trained all sports including soccer, basketball, swimming/diving, and football.  He obtained his National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2016 and worked as a Sports Performance Coach for the Fisher Institute of Physical Therapy and Performance in Phoenix, AZ, where his work focused on training collegiate football players for the NFL Combine.

Additionally, Shea was an outstanding high school athlete, competing for Hanson High School in Alexandria, SD, in football, track and field, basketball, golf, and baseball. He helped lead his team to multiple state championships in football and track and field.

Shea’s achievements include:

Shea enjoys the challenge of bringing out the best in every athlete, no matter where they are at in their life, and helping each person obtain their personal goals. It is his ambition for every person to leave the training facility feeling faster, stronger, healthier, and more confident.
