Matt Firth, BS, ATC

Before joining NutriFormance and Athletic Republic, Matt earned his Associates in Kinesiology at Paris Junior College and his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training at Lindenwood University. After graduating from Lindenwood’s Athletic Training program, Matt went on to work in the Physical Therapy setting where he continued to refine his skills and knowledge of rehabilitation. His responsibilities included direct patient contact in exercise instruction, and modality  treatment in a general orthopedic and sports medicine outpatient clinic.

Outside of Matt’s studies, he was also a highly skilled baseball player.  Matt played for an International team based out of Canada called the Ontario Blue Jays, which is considered to be the top elite baseball team in the country. This team gave Matt the opportunity and exposure to play against minor league/ independent and Division 1 caliber baseball teams throughout North America. Through playing for this team Matt was recruited to many invite only MLB draft camps. Matt went on to play for the nation’s #5 ranked NJCAA Paris Junior College Dragons.

Matt’s Achievements and certifications include:

  • 1st team Canadian High School RHP of the year in 2004
  • Ontario Blue Jays Top RHP pitcher for 2004
  • American Red Cross- First Aid and CPR
  • NATA Board of Certification- Athletic Training Certified
  • Missouri State Board of Healing Arts- Athletic Training Licensed

Matt is extremely eager and excited in taking the next step and joining the NutriFormance and Athletic Republic team and helping people succeed and reach goals that they set out to accomplish.
